CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION
This Symposium is co-sponsored by The Seraph Fund and The Institute for Continuing Education. The program offers a total of 6.00 contact hours, with full attendance required. The CE processing fee is $25.00 per person and may be paid with submission of completed CE paperwork, or on-site (This is included in the ticket price). Symposium attendees who wish to receive continuing education credit MUST check in at the registration/ continuing education desk to make formal application and receive CE materials for completion.
Target Audience: psychologists, social workers, counselors, marriage-family therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, graduate students, drug-alcohol counselors, dietitians, allied mental health professionals.
Course Completion: To qualify to receive continuing education credit, attendees must complete the CE materials, sign in/out daily at designated locations, and complete an evaluation of the sessions attended. CE verification is mailed to attendees following the Colloquium.

Psychology: The Institute for Continuing Education is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Institute for Continuing Education maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
Counseling/MFT: This program is co-sponsored by The Institute for Continuing Education and SeraphFund. This co-sponsorship has been approved by NBCC. The Institute for Continuing Education is an NBCC approved continuing education, provider 5643. The Institute for Continuing Education is solely responsible for this program, including the awarding of NBCC credit.
Social Work: The Institute for Continuing Education, provider #1007, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards ( ASWB ), www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education ( ACE ) program. The Institute for Continuing Education maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 4-13-2018 – 4-13-2021. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. Social workers participating in this program will receive 6.00 clinical continuing education contact hours.
Skill Level: This Symposium is appropriate for professionals of all skill levels – beginning, intermediate, advanced. Participants are urged to review session description for appropriateness for professional and personal development.
Instruction Methodology: May include lecture, didactic, audio-visual, demonstration, experiential practice of techniques, large and small group discussion
Non-Credit Activities: Credit is not offered for breakfast, luncheon events.
Ethics Hours / Academic Credit: The Conference offers no “academic” credit and CE hours awarded are not eligible toward fulfillment of a degree. No “ethics” hours are offered.
